Documentation starts with 3D laser scanning of the object from all sides, and continues with processing the scans in a way of creating a pointcloud which describes the object in high detail. In the next step wraping the pointcloud in a surface of triangular network produces a 3D mesh. Meshing creates a model with advanced possibilities of visualization including lighting, shading and texturing. Section views, images and animations can be easily created and 3D data exported to standard internet viewable VRML files, to 3Dpdf or to specific file formats according to clients needs.
